Luke at 3 1/2!

Luke and his favorite subject matter - a fox!!

It's hard for me to believe my baby is getting older, and turning into a big boy!
I am trying to relish all the time I have left to lift him and get unlimited hugs and cuddles.

He finally became fully potty trained this past month.  It had been a real struggle with that little hard headed boy, but all of a sudden he did it, and has done terrific ever since.  He does still wear a diaper at night, but several times he has been dry at night.  For his reward he got the blue Jake and the Neverlands bike.

He still is not the best sleeper, and every night he ends up in our bed.  That is our next project - to get him a bigger bed, and work on him staying in it.

He currently is 40 lbs and is 39 3/4 inches.  He grew 1/2 inch in just the past two months.
He has a size 9 1/2 foot and wears mostly 3T clothing.

He is shy around people he does not know well, and will do some funny things, like totally not look at the person talking to him...like, "If I don't look at you, you can't see me."
He also has a nervous habit of sticking his tongue out the side of his mouth, and putting his hands up like a bunny.
He currently loves the color blue, and loves anything sweet to eat!  He likes to drink milk and water.

His favorite TV show is Umizoomi.  He also likes Peppa Pig and Sheriff Callie, and will also watch Ninja Turtles.

Lunch with Mommy.  Enjoying his favorite drink - milk!

He also has such an imagination and asks a million questions a day!  He wants to know why to EVERYTHING!!
Currently he is obsessed with talking about foxes.

He and Hank will play together and Luke loves his brother, but they also have their fighting moments!

Luke enjoys riding his bike and playing with all his toys.  He especially likes his little men and trucks, and building things.  He is good about cleaning up.

He also loves to swim and loves animals.  He has a stuffed animal, kitty that he sleeps with and will take with him sometimes.  Whenever we go somewhere in the car, he has to take some toy with him.

Luke at Three!

Luke turned three on December 3!
I stayed home that day to celebrate with him.  I made him pancakes with a candle for breakfast and Daddy brought home pizza hut ( he likes their breadsticks) for dinner.  We also had a little ice cream cake and sang to him again.  He had a cold, so he and I stayed home and relaxed during the day.

He had his big party on Saturday Nov. 29.  It was a Spiderman theme and he really loved his party this year.  About one to two months prior I had asked him what kind of party he wanted and he picked Spiderman himself!
I found a couple of cakes on Pinterest and found someone who could make the one Luke picked out.
We rode to get it on the Friday before his party and he was so excited about it.  He stated, "that's the coolest cake I ever seen."

During his party, he kept coming to the desert table and starting at it.  He told me later, it was his favorite part of his party!

Luke still has some of his "baby" features, but is turning into a little boy so fast.  He talks all the time around us, but will clam up around people he does not know well.  He is a very loving child and thoughtful, but he does have a grumpy side too.
We are working on potty training.  At nights he sleeps at least half the night in his toddler bed, and then comes and gets into our bed, during the night.

He likes to play with any type of figurines, toy guns, building blocks, or coloring.  When he colors, he says he is doing his homework.
He always has to have some toy in his hands.  He often will have a one of his "little mans" with him.
He also really loves his stuffed kitty and takes her everywhere.  When he comes into our bed at night, he always brings her too!

He likes to watch Peppa Pig, Little Einstein's, and Sheriff Callie.  He likes some others, but those are his current favorites.  He really liked watching the Elf on the Shelf movie and Frosty this past Christmas.  He was really into finding our Elf this past Christmas every morning.
He is really getting into make believe and pretend play right now and he talks about Monsters and he often asks us if a Monster is going to come out of the toilet!

He loves the color red, and he loves to eat ANYTHING sweet.  He likes any kind of candy, cookies, and fruit snacks.  He likes his breakfast foods, like waffles, pancakes, and he loves bacon.
He likes spaghetti, chicken nuggets, and fries, as well as raw carrots, and fruits.

He had his three year check up on 12/8/14 and he was 34.4 lbs ( 75%) and 38 3/4 inches tall (80%).
We also went and got some new shoes that day, and he has a size 9 foot!

I am really trying to enjoy all his cuddles and when he says "I love you Mommy", because I know time is moving so fast, and he is not going to stay little for long!

Hank at Six years old!

Hank turned six last month, on the 18th.
He had school that day.  I got home a little early so I could meet him at the bus stop with a balloon!

That night we went to Pizza Hut (his choice) and Toys R Us, so he could pick out his birthday gifts.
In between Pizza Hut and the toy store, his tummy started hurting.  When we got in the parking lot, he threw up, but immediately felt better!  Hank is my little throw -upper!!

He took a long time in the store, picking out and deciding what he wanted!  HE settled on a Star Wars sword and a Nerf gun, that I then had to return, because it did not work!

We had a small cake when we got home.  Hank had requested it have whipped icing, which had me driving to multiple stores that day. Finally I found one at the Mars Store!

We had his Army Man party at the bouncy house that following Saturday.

Hank just had his six year appointment at the Doctors and he is 71 lbs and 48 1/4 inches.  He continues to be 90th % for his height and is 97 % for his weight.

Hank loves sports.  He is playing soccer and each time, he has gotten goal.  He also takes karate classes.  He likes to play with his ninja turtles, toy guns, ride his bike, and play on his play set.  He likes to build things and will play nicely in his room.

Luke at 2 1/2!

Luke has turned 2 1/2 years old!
It is so hard to believe my baby is growing up and before I know it he will be heading off to school!

Luke is definitely my bullheaded child....he does things, when Luke wants to do them!
He is also ornery, but very loving.  He can also get his feelings easily hurt!

He loves to play with trucks, trains, balls and animal and "man" figures ( army men, rescue heroes, etc..)  He likes Superheroes, especially Spiderman and lately he has been saying, "My's Superman."

He likes to watch Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins, and Peppa Pig.  His favorite color is red.
He loves his sweets and breakfast foods.  He does like fruits and broccoli, hot dogs, chicken, fries, apple slices, raisins, and fruit snacks.

Luke got his first fish at Eagles Peak Campground!

Currently he is 31. 2 lbs and 36 1/2 inches.
He wears 2T and 24 month.  Size 6 diaper.  He will pee on the pot now and likes to flush the toilet himself and wave and say, "bye bye pee."

He talks so much now and even can count to 10!  He usually starts at 3 and skips over 1 and 2 though!  Very funny!
He likes to do things for himself and will get upset if you don't allow him to, "No my do it, My do it!"
He usually gets up around 4:30 in the morning and comes into our bed.  Some nights it is earlier though!

He really makes our family whole!

Loving life - donuts and milk, and camping!!

Hank at 5 1/2!

Hank turned 5 1/2 in March.

He goes to preschool three days a week and will start Kindergarten in late August.

He likes school and seeing his friends.  He enjoys show and tell and always wants to know if it is his show and tell day ( Wednesday is his day.)  He can write his whole name now and I can see a lot of improvement in his schoolwork over the past year.  He actually takes a lot of pride in doing his homework!

He has grown immensely this year, especially over the Winter!

He now weighs 62 lbs and is 46 1/4 inches.
He is currently wearing size 6 or 7.  He is very hard to fit right now.  His jeans, especially are hard to fit and I am trying different brands and trying out Husky.  Right now the Crazy 8 Husky brand fits the best.

He loves fruit snacks, ham sandwiches with mayo, noodles, steak, raw carrots, goldfish crackers, and ice cream.  He also likes cereal a lot!

He is taking karate lessons and really loves that.  He is also partaking in a soccer clinic at school this Spring.  He likes to play baseball at home, ride his bike, play with army men, and his ninja turtles.

His current favorite shows are Sam and Cat, Caillou,  Sid the Science Kid, and Peppa Pig

His favorite color is yellow.  He likes all the seasons - he likes the snow and he loves to swim.  He keeps wanting to know when the pool is going to open up!  He is obsessed with his camouflage crocks and wants to wear them all the time.

He enjoys camping and all the holidays.  He always want to know when the next holiday is, or his birthday.  He wants to know when the next event is, or what he is doing tomorrow.  He will say, "is that the day after today?" He often uses the number 1080 -"is that in 1080 years?"

He tries us often with some of his behaviors, but also can be so kind and willing to share with others.

He talks about when he is older.  He is going to be a Daddy and live right next to us  He is going to work at Plaza Ford, and be a Football player too!  He also told me he is not going to have any rules at his house!

He is our favorite oldest son!!

Luke at Two!

Luke turned two on Dec. 3.  The Sunday before we celebrated with a tractor theme party.
On his actual birthday I took off and the boys and I went up to Strasburg to see some trains.

Some fun facts about our crazy two year old:

He loves tractors and trains.

His favorite book is The Foot Book, by Dr. Suess.

He has a BIG sweet tooth and loves candy, cookies, cake, etc...

His best meal is breakfast.  He also likes fruit, spaghetti, mac and cheese, fries, and bread, and he really likes bacon!
He likes his water and milk.  Not a fan of juice.
He has really started to take off on his talking and saying all kinds of things now.
He just started to call us Mommy and Daddy, instead of Mama and Dada.  He also just started to call himself Luke.

On his two year check up he was 31 lbs and 34 3/4 inches, which is in the 75 %.
His head is in the 95 %!

He is a terrible sleeper and never sleeps a whole night in his crib - spoiled!

He wears a size 5 diaper, but is ready to go up to a 6!

He wears mostly 24 month clothing and he has a size 7 1/2 wide foot.

He gets into everything!!  A lot worse than I remember Hank at this age.

He loves animals, and he likes to talk about things being "Big", like a big tractor, or a big piece of bread.  When we ask him who he loves he always names, Hank, Mommy, and Daddy.

We love him a lot too!
